shoot. almost forgot to tell you guys... so i once owned a late 90s range rover. it was a piece of shit. i traded it in to a dealership in september of 2005 for my current chick magnet. a lil over a month ago i receive a letter from some insurance company asking for my insurance information to cover the damages that 'my car' had done to their policy holder. my first instinct was, "shit. my mom hit someone and didn't tell me." (i pay for her insurance on my policy). so i called her, and she's like... noooo. i didn't hit anyone? so i'm thinkin. ok. either she's lying to me or they got the wrong dood. so i tried calling the guy who wrote me the letter to find out what's goin on. he has a habit of never answering a phone call. and their policy is not to give out email addresses so in other words, you can't get ahold of anyone unless you call during their hours, and chances are it won't be who you're asking for. 

so after multiple messages, i talk to another person at the office and ask what the deal was. the lady says, 'oh, it was your range rover. it was involved in an accident. we just need your insurance information to cover the damages." so i say, "oh, i haven't owned that car in over 3 years. i traded it in back in 2005." so i fax in my trade in paperwork that's dated 9/17/05 and what not. as the story goes, the same guy sends me 2 more letters saying i need to submit my insurance info to cover the damages and that my trade in paperwork isn't sufficient. that i need something from the dmv. so i call again, explain everything to someone else, since this guy wont' return my phone calls. 

i call again and explain it again to someone else, and finally i get so fed up explaining everything to a new person every single time that after i hung up with them, i submitted a complaint to the better business bureau. now if you don't know about the BBB you betta axe sumbody. cuz a company could give a flying fark about you, until you complain to the bbb. the bbb is like your gangsta cousin that don't give a fark and will intimidate the hell out of anyone.

so after the complaint was filed, the company is able to submit a response and a proposed action. they made up some bullshort excuse about something and say that the trade in paperwork wasn't dated and all that. i called them out on their bs and submitted a rebuttal (funny name huh?). and after the rebuttal and more bitching on my part, they sent me an apology letter and a $20 check to reimburse me for the release of liability i had to get from the dmv (i demanded both).  

my whole thing was, if you're gonna be that ignorant and not return phone calls and waste hours of my time, i'll happily waste even more hours of your time. and i'll make it painful. i'll twist the nipple. so while a simple phone call and conversation to sort things out would've taken them maybe 15 mins, i've summoned chico the pit bull to sick their ass and now they're on top of dede's beamer waiting hours for chico to go away so they can get down. not gonna happen anytime soon. 

so i just realized how long this stupid story is. and it's really not that big of a deal. but i'm smitten in celebratious glory after hours of wasted time and little response from this guy who kept sending me letters. in this one instance - i got my cake and ate it too. victory. yeayaaaaaaaa
