back at home after 4 nights in la... i cannot express in words how wonderful it feels to be sitting my own bed with my electric blanket on... not to mention walking around the apt in my boxers. it's just liberating. it's like a sigh of relief. at home. comfortable. sigh. it's great seeing family and friends, but nothing beats sleeping in your own bed. 

no more korean bbq. at least not for a month or two. it was 4 nights in a row of oh-so-delicious-but-leave-your-clothes-stankin'- korean-bbq... i loved it. but too much of a good thing is never a good thing... is that how that goes? anyway, i'm sure i packed on an extra 20 lbs in korean bbq...

in other news, i met up with bones and hien in la... had a memorable(sort of) evening at cohibas in long beach. two memorable statements hien made that night, "koreans can drink." and "i can hang with koreans." it was over before it started. between me, steven, and hien, we spent 300 at the bar buying round after round... fun times, from what i remember... 

here are the key phrases for that evening:

'2 black on the rocks and 1 kettle tonic' x 8

'the one in black and white is mine. you can have the lady in red.'

'bottoms up.' (twss)

'that's the asian version of new york!'

'hey, you're not supposed to be in here.' - 'i know.'

'cmon, you gotta get up, you can't pass out in here.' (twss)

in other news, i just bought a macbook... it's pretty awesome being able to lay here in bed, with one eye on the san diego/denver game and the other on this screen. you can't fake that. and since i only got 3 hours of sleep last night and i'm dying for some right now, i think that'll be it for this entry. hope everyone had a dac biet holiday...
