28 years grown and don't feel a day over 16... aside from the gut that's emerged from 2,888 "one too many beers." the onslaught of working life makes life seemingly stagnant... you work, you play, you work, you play. you work to play, you play to work. the monotony pickpockets time. before you realize, you've already pissed away years of split second moments with only memories to show...not that life is a show and tell. i'll show you mine if you show me yours... not really. but really, there's got to be more right?
remember the days when time would drag its ugly ass to the far end of the earth before it struck midnight? like everyday was a 72 hour day and joy was as simple as finding a penny on the ground or as complicated as which cereal to pick because you knew you'd have to finish the whole box before you got to pick another one? what ever happened to the simplicity of simplicity? contentment in the basics? where imagination provided more entertainment than the countless hours of channel surfing on the 42" plasma that took you 6 months to save up for? where anything and everything was a toy and the world was your playground? can we ever really revert back?
i think now is the time to reverse the aging process and progressively make an effort to simplify. less is more right? more or less...
