another update...

so it's been a few weeks... i'm now officially in my 30s... and i can't say it feels that much different than being in my 20s... of course, no one has asked me how old i am yet, so until that day, i still feel like i'm 29... did a lil celebrating for the bday... had some korean bbq, then hit up a bowling alley where i bowled the best games of my life... the stars must've been aligned or something. i never bowl very well, but i averaged 155/game that night. i was amazed with myself... in between turns, we'd take swigs of soju (hidden discreetly in a 2L bottle of water)... good times... then just more drinking and more eating and then singing... i have to say that the thong song was quite a hit... so much so, that i requested it be played at the castro/meas wedding in sept...

other than that, not too much has been goin on... i went rafting for the first time in korea yesterday... it was definitely fun, but not nearly as fun as drunk rafting at shasta... here it was about 10 ppl per raft... one of the girls was falling into the water and tried to pull my other friend in with her, ended up getting a knee to the face and was out of commission the rest of the day... when we got back to land she yacked, and her nose started bleeding, and they called the doctors to come look at her... felt kinda bad, but i think it was her own fault for tryin to pull someone else down with her...

aside from that, i've been running every weeknight to try to slim down a bit for the wedding... AND because the groom keeps asking for my voluptuous measurements, i gotta hurry up and slim down so i can send those out...

my homie scott is comin out next month to visit for about a week... should be good times... can't wait to see another familiar face...
