just got back from watching a film from the sf international asian american film festival... kinda made me reflect on life... the film is about 7 high school friends in china that just get into all sorts of trouble... some of the stuff they get into seems like it's the entire world riding on their backs... makes me think back to when i was in high school and half the time i felt like the king of the world and other times i just felt so small.... like an ant in an ant hill... it's kinda crazy that i'll be leaving in less than 2 months... there's a lot that i'll definitely miss here... the food... the people... the sights and sounds... the food... and the food... i guess everything happens for a reason... though the reasons aren't always apparent when they happen, i think overall everything happens for the greater good. i guess life never really gets easier as you grow older... i guess at some point i'll be able to look back and smile... knowing that yesterday's sorrows are the laughter of today... and today is just the beginning of the rest of my life.
