so i'm finally gonna head home tonight after a week in monterey in solitude... today after work, i went and grabbed some food... i was feeling a bit like a chia pet so i figgered i'd go and get my hair cut... just a nice basic shave... the usual. so i go to one place, and the lady is like... men's cut? 18 dollars! so i kindly thanked her and exited immediately. went across the street to this asian salon... "nancy" hoa do quoted me 12 dolla, so i agreed and took a seat. she said, "so hunnay, how joo like yo hayuh? i do it nigh." i'm really not exaggerating. those were her exact words.

so i tell her i'd like a 0.5 guard, and shaved the same all the way around. her response was, "no. one sigh all aroun look boring. i do 1 up top. you see." so i said ok. as she was cutting, i politely said, i think i'd like it all the same length, all around. again she said, "no. look betta wih diffren sighs. i finish and you see hunnay."

so i let her finish... like a real hunnay would. and there's about a .00012 of an inch difference between what i had asked and what she did. so it's pretty much the same as what i had asked for, it just took her twice as long to switch between clipper guards. i guess it made her feel better knowing there was some styo to my hair instead of it being boring? idunno.

anyway, i can't wait to go home. i'll be sleeping in my own bed tonight. and thinking of you... yes you... rawr.
